Stocks, Bonds and Mutual Funds
Gifts of stock or other securities (such as bonds or mutual funds) offer significant tax advantages and are easy to make. You can make a gift of appreciated securities to De Novo electronically or by mailing the paper certificate to us.
Step 1: Your broker can electronically transfer your gift directly to our account at Charles Schwab using the following information:

Step 2: Notify De Novo of your intended gift.
When your stock is transferred to our account, we do not receive any information that identifies you as the donor. Please notify us at (617) 405-5458 or abecker@denovo.org and provide the following information:
Name of the stock
Number of shares
Your name and address
If you hold the security’s paper certificate, you can mail it unendorsed to:

In a separate envelope to the same address, please mail a signed, but otherwise blank, stock power form and a letter stating your intention to make a gift of the security to De Novo Center for Justice and Healing. You can obtain a stock power form from your bank or broker. Please sign the stock power form exactly as your name appears on the stock certificate.
